May 07,  · Two releases illuminate Tim Buckley as being far from the typical s folkie. Light in the Attic’s Lady, Give Me Your Key uncovers two ’67 demos and is easily the more consistent of the two, its contents complementing a significant portion of Omnivore’s Wings: The Complete Singles That set leaps over a highly fertile period in chronologically documenting the 45s of an artist.

After the release of the entire catalogue of The Son (Jeff) on Music On Vinyl, it's now time for The Father (Tim). Although they just met once, it is pretty clear that both were gifted with The Holy Spirit, being incredibly talented singers and musicians. This self-titled work is Tim's debut album, originally released in /5(16).

Tim Buckley. Timothy Charles Buckley III (February 14, – June 29, ) was an American singer and musician. His music and style changed considerably through the years; his first album () was mostly folk oriented, but over time his music incorporated jazz, psychedelia, funk, soul, avant-garde and an evolving "voice as instrument," sound.

My set only had very minor warping on the gatefold cover titles and all the other LP’s were flat. Every album played perfectly. If you’re a fan of Tim Buckley and you own original pressings like me, then you know that those originals were not that great. Tim was not a big seller in those days and not much money was put into his releases/5(6).
